In order to further promote the construction of an excellent style of study, strengthen the sense of gratitude of the subsidized students, and give full play to the exemplary and leading role of outstanding students, on November 30, the College of Mechanical and Automotive Engineering held an online learning experience sharing meeting on the return of the king. The sharing meeting was hosted by Li Kuo, the college affairs counselor, and was attended by representatives of the college's national scholarships, Shanghai scholarship winners and 2022 freshmen.
Teacher Li Kuo introduced the funding policies and selection criteria of various awards and grants of the school to everyone, and introduced three students from different majors of the school who had outstanding performance in various national and municipal competitions and had won national scholarships or Shanghai scholarships in succession. Teacher Li encourages students to learn from them and strive for various scholarships, which is encouraging them to keep forging ahead.
Chen Chen, a 2019 automotive service engineering major, shared his experience in self planning and personal learning, focusing on the teaching features and online learning resources of several popular teachers. Tang Wan, a 2019 mechanical design and automation major, used her rich practical experience to explain how to participate in science and innovation competitions in school and how to balance learning and competition. She encouraged students to actively participate in science and innovation competitions, bravely try to break through themselves, achieve self-improvement in professional practice, and work towards the direction of "compound talents". Lai Fangye, a 2019 major in energy and power engineering, shared the secret of integrating knowledge, and proposed that college students should put their learning attitude right, master the initiative of learning knowledge, take notes in class frequently, and apply knowledge to practice. At the end, he borrowed President Xi's words, "When young people are strong, the country is strong. At the right time, contemporary young students have a very broad stage to display their talents, and the prospect of realizing their dreams is very bright." He encouraged students to work hard and establish lofty ideals.
The students who attended the meeting felt that they had benefited a lot, and said that through the sharing of seniors, it was more clear how to carry out professional learning and develop themselves in an all-round way during college. The successful holding of this sharing meeting has set an example of outstanding students for our students, and created a good atmosphere of funding and educating people.
